My delight is writing my unpublished novels. To tell the truth, it is more of a passion than a delight. My favourite bits are when I get to write scenes that are especially emotionally moving or those scenes that have a particularly dramatic effect. I've been writing since I was about five years old. At least, that is when I wrote my first story on my own. It was a short thing that I put together on paper and illustrated myself. The story involved a dramatic rescue for one of the My Little Ponies, which I was obsessed with at the time. Even before I could write coherently, however, I was still making up stories and forcing various relatives to write them down for me even though they usually had better things to do with their time. The delight does not stop for me when I have completed whatever piece of work I am undertaking, though. The delight simply grows when I speak to people who have read and appreciated my work. It just seems to make it that bit more special when you have managed to illuminate an imagination with a world that you have created.
